Nothing Serious | USA | Drama | John Appleton | 90 min
TEXAS PREMIERE

Nothing Serious is the story of Kailey Childs, an ambitious seventeen year old who leaves her life in the suburbs behind to pursue a career in modern dance in New York City. Upon arriving in the big city she struggles with money and must decide whether to accept the help of a dancer who offers her a survivor job in a coffee shop or an older man who makes her a proposition too good to be true. As she explores her options and deepens her relationships Kailey comes to question the intentions of the people supporting her, and must ultimately come to accept the buried truth behind not only their reasons but her own.
