Laura Lockwood, originally from Michigan, is an actress in New York City. She is in the short film, Heavy Feathers, screening at the Lone Star Film Festival 2016. Heavy Feathers has been accepted into the Berlin Short Film Festival, European Short Film Festival, Mzansi Women's Film Festival in South Africa (named "#1 Short Film"), Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner, Orlando Film Festival, HollyShorts Monthly Screening Competition and the upcoming Santa Fe Film Festival. It is an honor to have Heavy Feathers' Texas premier at the Lone Star Film Festival!
