Sarah Evans is the founder and Executive Director of Well Aware and the founder and CEO of Aurora Global. Evans began her professional life as a securities lawyer but launched her career in international development working with communities in emerging nations to establish safe and sustainable water infrastructure as a foundation for growth and prosperity. Through this work, her team-building and her dedication to realistic solutions, she has become a subject-matter expert and has published several articles on international development, nonprofit management and water system success on various platforms; including MariaShriver.com, Wandering Educators, Stilettos on the Glass Ceiling, among others. She has been twice a finalist in the Austin Under Forty Awards, a finalist in the Austin Business Journal's Profiles in Power, featured in the New York Times' Women In The World Summit, and Austin Woman Cover Story; memberships have included/include the board of Austin Cosmopolitan Rotary club, the Entrepreneurs Organization Ignite program, Impact Hub and Rural Water Supply Network.
